Beaded Christmas Tree

Image
Hello dear friends I hope your Christmas was filled with joy and love. Ours was very busy, but a lot of family fun was had.  I didn't get to finish my beaded Christmas Tree before Christmas, but I completed it last night. It can enjoy the few days of the Christmas season with all my other decorations. It was simple to make with a hot glue gun, a navy fat quarter, an old photo frame, old costume jewellery and sequins. I wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2022. QP   by Rhonda

Puff Quilt Finished for Christmas!

Image
Merry Christmas to all my dear friends. Finally, my Puff Quilt is finished.  I am very happy with it.  Let's call it organic and a bit rustic.  That means - don't look too closely.   After making the quilt sandwich and hand tying all the squares, I then trimmed away the excess wadding and trimmed the backing to one inch all the way around.  Then, I turned it over twice (to hide the raw edge).  I could have sewn a running stitch to secure the binding but I was impatient to finish my quilt, so I hopped onto the sewing machine. This quilt is super warm and cosy - not really necessary for this time of the year, but it will be waiting for me come winter. My next project is to create a beaded Christmas Tree in a picture frame.  Not sure if I will get it finished by Christmas!                      May the magic and wonder of Christmas bless your home and bring you peace in the New Year.  ...
