Puff Quilt Finished for Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all my dear friends.

Finally, my Puff Quilt is finished.  I am very happy with it.  Let's call it organic and a bit rustic.  That means - don't look too closely.

After making the quilt sandwich and hand tying all the squares, I then trimmed away the excess wadding and trimmed the backing to one inch all the way around.  Then, I turned it over twice (to hide the raw edge).  I could have sewn a running stitch to secure the binding but I was impatient to finish my quilt, so I hopped onto the sewing machine.

This quilt is super warm and cosy - not really necessary for this time of the year, but it will be waiting for me come winter.

My next project is to create a beaded Christmas Tree in a picture frame.  Not sure if I will get it finished by Christmas!

May the magic and wonder of Christmas bless your home and bring you peace in the New Year.

        MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE xx
