Kangaroo Valley Makers Markets

Hello dear friends

What a busy month! 12 quilts sewn and I was ready for my first Makers Markets in Kangaroo Valley.  It was a freezing, foggy morning but I bravely set up my stall.

 



The markets were held at The Hive and it looked a picture, especially when the sun came out.



Unfortunately, I didn't sell any quilts but I learnt a few things. Note to self: I need a bigger table and I need some cheaper items, such as table runners.  This is learning as you go, trying out different displays and options. I'm not discouraged as I think my quilts are one of a kind and the quality is good.  I just realised that not everyone wants a baby quilt!

Thanks to Alexandra and Ben for letting me use their furniture as props for my advertising.


I had a little ray of sunshine on Sunday when my beautiful friend bought a quilt with tiny hearts all over it.

Next month is another opportunity and I'm looking forward to it.
