PUFF QUILT PREPARATION
Hello friends, I have been very busy cutting up all the squares for my Puff Quilt. I used the gorgeous fat quarters from Scribbly Gum Quilt Co. for the part of the puff that you can see and fabric scraps for the part that you can't see. 736 in total! Now I have to sew around 3 sides using a "scant" 1/4 inch. I had never heard of that term but Brittany from Lo & Behold Stitchery gives a very detailed description on a blog on her website. After all that sewing, then I have to stuff each puff, sew the 4th side, work out my Ombre gradient design, sew each puff together in lines and sew each line together. Then I measure and cut the fabric for the backing, make the quilt sandwich and then hand tie at each 4 puff intersection. Not much to do at all! Now for something from nature that brings me pleasure.
