Go in, have a look around, watch a tutorial or two.  These are just ones that I have found and liked.  There are thousands more out there.  You will find ones that are specifically for beginners.  There is a whole quilting world our there, just waiting to be explored.                                                          

We haven't even begun to discuss threads, rulers, sewing machine feet, the list is endless.  Next post  I will show you some of the tools of the trade that I have found helpful.
